Tamarindo estuary boat safari
USD 35 per person
Wether you are passionate about birds and wildlife, photography or just looking for a beautiful and exciting day trip in Tamarindo - this is a great tour for you!

The tour starts at the ranger station by the Tamarindo estuary which belongs to the Baulas National Marine Park. During the two hour long boat trip, that also includes a short hike in the dry forest, you will travel around 7 km up the river. Likely (but not guaranteed) observations include crocodiles, howler monkeys, aquatic birds, iguanas and much more.
There are many different kinds of birds in the estuary. Please let the guide know if you are looking for a specific species, such as laughing duck, roseate spoonbill or mangrove hummingbird, and he will do his best to find it!

We advise you to bring insect repellent and comfortable shoes/sandals.
